At The Top – Burj Khalifa” is a must-visit for anyone in Dubai—an iconic moment that captures the beauty and ambition of the cit

“At The Top” at the Burj Khalifa is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment you enter, the journey feels smooth, well-organized, and designed to build excitement. The high-speed elevator ride is impressive on its own—just a few seconds to reach one of the world’s highest observation decks. Reaching at 125th Floor is an amazing experience and having a coffee or a tea at the cafe will make it more memorable.

***2.5 hours of disorganised queuing***

Long queues up… long queues down…all very disorganised… it’s packed at the top and not worth the money… avoid and save yourself a fortune.

Too much time waiting without communication

Lots of waiting without effective communication on why or how long you’ll be waiting. This was the same for both going up and down. It took 2 hours to go up and 45 minutes to get back down, where you ended up queuing just to join another queue. The views were nice, but not worth the money, or the time you could be spending exploring other areas - such a shame.

So crowded, it isn't worth it

You buy a ticket that tells you to be there 15 minutes early, or either face your ticket being cancelled. It seems rather serious, but it's far from that. For us, it was a normal Wednesday at 11 AM. The reality is that we spent an hour in line before validating our tickets. Then, another hour in line winding through corridors in the building's basement. Corridor, line, corridor, line. We spent 2 hours just to arrive to the elevator. The only way to visit without wasting time is to go very early (very early) or buy a VIP ticket. That's the best tip I can give. The views are interesting, but not essential. There's a souvenirs shop at the top, dozen of photographers willing to take you a picture, and a miniature cafeteria. To go down, we had to wait in line for another 45 minutes. Overall, unless you go first thing in the morning (I don't think a VIP price is justified), it's an experience that can be skipped. It's far from a must-do.
