Family
A great stay for our family vacation

We had long heard many remarkable compliments about Burj Al Arab, including its luxury, its prestige, its services, and its caring attention to guests. Some of these sounded almost too good to be true. We selected this iconic hotel for our annual family vacation of 2025 to experience it ourselves. It turned out to be a fantastic decision. From the moment we arrived at the front gate, we were surrounded by extraordinary hospitality. Our suite was ready for us three hours before the regular check-in time. This allowed us to be well prepared for our desert safari tour. Our two-bedroom suite is superb and thoughtfully designed. All furniture is well positioned, the golden tones are glorious with refined Arabic style. The suite is extremely spacious and the functional layout is clearly divided. It is perfect for a family vacation with privacy. If these observations sound expected, I would like to note a few warmly felt experiences. When we first entered the suite, we found everything fantastic, except that part of the exterior view was blocked by the white poles. That initially caused a little disappointment. I sent a message to the E-butler to express the concern and quickly received a response explaining the external architectural structure. To be honest, I had not examined the building’s exterior closely and still maintained the concern. Brandon, the front office team lead, made an extraordinary effort to assist. He located another suite for us and very kindly offered a suite swap. He even escorted my wife and me to view the identified suite and made sure that we appreciated the improved exterior view. He also arranged butlers to assist with a smooth move. This effort was well beyond expectation. A suite swap of this scale is certainly not trivial. We deeply appreciate the team’s attention, especially Brandon’s thoughtful help. I would also say that if I had better understood the building structure earlier, I would not have raised the concern and would have stayed in the original suite, which was itself beautiful. Another request I made was to check the feasibility of extending the check-out time by two hours, since we had a very late flight. These two extra hours would give us significant flexibility for planning activities on the departure day. I fully understood the hotel’s high occupancy and operational constraints and stated we were happy to follow the regular check-out if needed. A little unexpectedly, our request for the two-hour extension was kindly approved. This made our last day more relaxed and efficient. The E-butler service is highly responsive and coordinated each request quickly and accurately with the respective teams. In addition, the in-person butlers are extremely professional, kind, and show great willingness to assist. It is also very pleasant to have casual conversations with them. I would like to give special recognition to Marmar, Edwin, Marvin, and Aldrin, expressing our sincere appreciation. Finally. When we returned to our suite on the last evening, our whole family was pleasantly surprised by the charming setup prepared for us. The cute cake, the roses, the lovely bears, and the fine boxed bath salts created a delightful scene. These thoughtful touches truly impressed us. Many thanks from the She family. Your excellent hospitality made every day of our stay shine. In summary, we have enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at Burj Al Arab. The team has played an essential role in making our family experience perfect. Thank you. We look forward to returning.

Horrible experience

I stayed at the Burj Al Arab three years ago and unfortunately had several negative experiences during my visit. At the time, management acknowledged the issues and personally assured me I would receive special accommodations and perks if I chose to return. I was told to reach out whenever I planned another stay. Fast forward to now: I contacted the hotel to redeem the promises made to me, only to be told that the staff member who made those commitments no longer works there and that the former general manager has also left. Instead of honoring what I was promised, I was repeatedly dismissed by frontline staff and had to escalate the matter around 15 times just to reach the new general manager ( maybe the staff were scared for to connect me with the GM) When the new GM finally responded, his tone was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed zero willingness to assist I actually found his tone very unprofessional and not sure he would have that post. He treated me as if I was being dishonest, despite the fact that every promise made to me was supposed to be documented per the previous Managment team (FYI I was just promised dinner for 2 people at the restaurant that messed up everything). Not only were the original commitments ignored, but the way I was spoken to was genuinely disrespectful and he did not even take the time to ask me my side of the story just decided with the staff to tell me that the old GM is gone and the manager that had promised me everything is also gone, and they cannot honor anything that I was promised For a hotel that claims to offer world-class service, this experience was extremely disappointing. A property of this caliber should value integrity, honor previous commitments, and treat returning guests with respect. Sadly, none of that happened. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend the Burj Al Arab based on how this situation was handled Also the hotel is 26 years old now with many malfunction inside the room and zero updates, also at check in the Front Desk people’s job is to upsell you to a high category suite an you feel the pressure…

It was ok

It’s was an experience to take a look inside the Burj al Arab. The atrium is a sight to behold. The suites that we were taken around to experience were great to see but it seems strange that there is a royal suite and “the most expensive suite” but they’re not used. The staff were attentive and clearly wanted to tell you about the hotels history and its making which was very interesting. I don’t feel I need to visit again. I would recommend it as something interesting to visit but just all felt very fake.
