Everything perfect

Huge.Stuff very friendly and polite.A guide showed us the place, we fed camels, we dressed as locals, we tasted camel's milk coffee and ice cream. We made a small round on the camels , we bet on their race .We bought this made of 🐫. You must not miss it. It is unforgettable. Don't listen to what song people write. They respond to any question before the visit which they remind you one day before and give you a meeting at the entrance. You go by taxi .The cost for ourVIP visit was about 10 euros a person.

Camelicious

My love of camels my husband thought it would be a nice idea to visit Camelicious not knowing we needed to book 3 weeks in advance. Having then done this, we heard nothing. Continual phone calls we finally received a call back saying they had technical issues and to email our booking confirmation. This was done but we still heard nothing back. After a week, I emailed them again to fortunately receive an email saying yes our booking is confirmed. We were the only 2 people on the tour. The tour lasted not even 1 hour. We paid 100 AED per person. We did visit the milk processing factories and saw the camels being milked, went and saw larger female camels which we were able to feed but were not able to see the baby camels. After our walk around with Mohammed, the tour was over. We were both given a sample of camel milk back in the cafeteria. We know the health benefits of camel milk as we already purchase it. We didn’t purchase anything from the shop as we have both eaten camel milk chocolate, we drink camel milk (a different brand however the taste is the same). If you have never been and want to see something out of the ordinary, go and visit but don’t have high expectations.

Disappointed - no tour, no information, no communication

I really wanted to visit this place for a tour so I wrote them an e-mail a week before as their webpage was absolutely not informative. They did not answer, not to my reminder later either...something I really not experienced before. I tried to call them several times to book the tour but still no answer. On the concerned day we drove there not expecting on any tour but at least to try a camel burger or something before a camel race (as the factory itself is close to the race track - where there was no race held either so our half-day plan was messed up completely but that is another story...) but even the little coffee shop was closed there due to Friday which is not a working day in the Emirates. This was not a problem, the problem was that no information was provided on the website or by them and that the guy who were there that day and finally told us that unfortunately their factory is closed and come back any other day did not tell us that the factory tour is available only by booking 2 weeks in advance (!) and without a tour there is really nothing to visit there just their very tiny coffee/gift shop...we drove there again on another day and the salesman in that shop informed us. I did not 100% regret to go there 2nd time as at least I could buy some camel milk powder as authentic souvenir but I was disappointed that there were only this, some pricey camel milk chocolates and camel milk ice creams but almost that's all, no burger or more which I read about before and which could make the place worth visiting from the inner town. I really don't know how such a "touristy" place can be like this, we were not the only ones that time who left the place disappointed and I can imagine how many other tourists got trapped. Just a couple of information to their website, really just 3-4 sentences and answer to e-mails and they could make a lot more money from the visitors...I really don't understand.
