Friends getaway
Best field trip ever.
It was good expecially the capital bullet train and the madagascar mad pursuit and i did not go on blast off and boat ride due to less time as I went from school OOB and want th go in 6th grade (next year) pls tell my school to come here again and give more time. there was a big crowd for the roller coaster to reduce it. The staff were helping alot. The Admission Fee Should we reduced. The Atmosphere was music. I think that this was the best trip ever and I want to go here next Year too. Best for next year too.

Extend increase motiongate park timings
Please i suggest to increase the motiongate park timings extend it to at least 10 pm daily so that the people who are having annual pass or normal entry day ticket they can easily come and enjoy because most the people are busy with their jobs so the time behind left is after evening only

Great Theming in Parts, But Let Down by Operations
We visited Motiongate Dubai and left happy enough because we had a nice family day out — but mainly despite the park, not because of it. There are some genuinely great attractions, but too many issues get in the way.
Theming & Rides:
The Shrek area is fantastic. The theming is class, with lovely attention to detail — like the marks on the bookshelves showing children’s heights over the years. It genuinely feels like a proper American-style theme park in these moments.
Unfortunately, other rides fall far short. On the Smurfs ride, you can literally see fire hoses in the background. Ghostbusters is another miss, especially compared to how the same technology is used so brilliantly at Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi.
Staffing & Queues:
This was the biggest disappointment.
• We queued 40+ minutes to collect pre-booked tickets, even though six tills were available and only two had staff.
• Many stalls closed because staff were taking breaks — a clear sign of short staffing.
• Food was nice, but service was slow. We waited 25 minutes for drinks with just one till open.
• Some Fast Pass queues were longer than the regular ones due to overselling of Fast Passes and platinum annual passes.
Characters & Extras:
Character experiences felt wooden and lacked the energy you’d expect.
The refillable drink deal is also misleading — most stalls can’t refill it, despite huge signs advertising it.
Ride Operations:
Operations were poor overall. Very few trains were running despite long queues, and loading/unloading was done with about as much urgency as a sloth on annual leave.
Final Thoughts:
There are highlights, and the theming in places is genuinely impressive. The weather was lovely, and we did enjoy our family day. But Motiongate has far too many operational issues right now, and there are more misses than hits. With better staffing and consistency, it could be so much more.

Bad Experience
I was really disappointed with the park. On the Go City website , they mention live shows and highlight the Underworld attraction. When I exchanged my Go City pass for the park ticket, the Guest Services informed that the Green Hornet and Smurf Village rides were closed. They also told me to take a picture of the TV screen showing the live shows schedule.
I used my Go City pass to exchange it for the park ticket — but once inside the park, there were no shows at all, and Underworld was closed. When I left, I asked for a ticket to return another day when the shows were available. The staff member said that the park can cancel shows or close rides at any time and basically told me, “You’ve lost your Go City pass.”
I emailed Dubai Parks but never received a reply to solve the problem. Overall, zero stars for Customer Experience. The rides were good, but you never know what will actually be open. The Ghostbusters ride only opened in the afternoon. The park lacks structure, organization, and respect for its visitors.

Rides Shut
As you will read elsewhere, there are always key rides closed. On our visit John Wick, Shrek and Zombieland Blast Off were shut, this is a high percentage of the rides available.
Also, when you have very large school groups attending, 250 from a single school on our visit, there is no overseeing of the queues so seeing tens of schoolchildren queue jumping by going under the rails to join their friends and significantly increase your queue time is not good.
