The other Dubai

Most people only visit Dubai the city and maybe take a desert tour, but If you have a day and like the nature go to Hatta. First, you don't need a tour. Just look up public buses, they are comfortable, on time and cheap. Hatta is perfectly walkable with paved trails, signs and free cold water stations everywhere. Seeing a large body of water in a desert is always a bit of a miracle but they have other interesting things too. They use it as a giant battery, have an interesting campground and other things.

Kayaking is fabulous here

It's a bautiful tranquil place where you can be close to the nature and go for kayaking in the water reservoir. I really enjoyed the time there. It's not allowed to swim here because water can go up very quickly but kayaking and boating is possible. What a hidden jem 1 hour driving from Dubai. Really didn't expect such a clean fresh water reservoir in the middle of the desert.

Family hangout place

A great place to hangout with family if you are really looking forward to drive out a bit from the city into the countryside. Located nicely with plenty parking space , refreshment options and a nice dining restaurant also a few good adventures namely kayak , and hiking. Worth your time and energy driving through nice hilly views and landscapes

Nice views and interesting activities to do

We drove here from Dubai to explore the area. There are quite a few activities to do such as hiking and biking. We opted to rent a pedal boat in the reservoir of the dam. It's not the most impressive place to see, but was still pleasant.

What a magnificent place

Magnificent place to Visit I am always in love to escape to Hatta especially with this place. It was my second time visiting this place, and I am still in love with the ambiance. Last year we were still able to park our car next to the location, which I was planning to do the same. however due to construction they provided us with another parking spot which was free. What a lovely gesture. Plus, they provide us with a free shuttle from parking to the location. During my visit, there were even an event of sports car. What a great moment add on. For hatta kayak it self, there are variations of the boat that you can choose from the kayak itself until the VIP boat. You choose your own ride. The staff were helpful and kind. The life guard always ready and room around all the time. If you look to have peace of mind with beautiful scenery, I believe you should try to visit and enjoy this place.
