This is an open museum which is divided into various galleries (located in various building). It tells about the history of the country. There are beautiful views which shows the city skyline.

Nice place set up to take you through more of the countries short history but not enough info. Lots of items and photos but no real information or back story on any of them. Would be great to know more about it all
I visited the Heritage Village in September 2025. It was relatively busy, registration was required with minimal queuing, and I took 2.5 hours to see everything. The exhibits were fascinating, unveiling Abu Dhabi’s history and rise on the world scene. There were no interactive displays to further enrich the experience. Free entrance. The cafe offers a well-deserved break, and the gift shops are stocked with souvenirs. It’s difficult to reach using the bus as it requires a 30-minute walk from Marina Mall in unbearable heat, so it’s better to take a taxi. The staff were friendly, helpful, but some weren’t competent in English. I would recommend travellers to pay a visit to gain insight into the local culture and history.
